Oscar Callejas is a multidisciplinary artist working in painting and photography.

His oil portraits and landscapes are rendered in a vivid, loose, expressionistic style, drawing energy from the subject and re-energizing it through paint. His photographic practice ranges from street-level photojournalism to conceptual explorations of the interzone—a liminal space of the unseen. He holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and has worked for many years in the tech world, a tension that informs his artistic perspective.
