On Painting

What is a painting to you?
A painting is the act of being alive. It’s an investigation, an experiment, a dare, quick rest-stops in an ongoing addiction..

And what makes a painting yours specifically?
It’s the ‘mistakes’ and ‘bad character’ of the work, which if it is any good, might be of interest.
